Domestic leagues: Kozuv lost to the champions, Kumanovo win at home

Win for Kumanovo

KK Kozuv lost in the third round of the Superleague of Macedonia. The team from
Gevgelija visited the champions MZT Skopije and was defeated 90-97. This was
the first loss after two straight wins to open up the second phase of the championship.

The home team started very well and led by 12 points after the first quarter and by 15 at the break. The visitors then tried to comeback in the match but managed only to cut the deficit. Slaven Cupkovic was the top scorer for Kozuv with 25 points. Miladin Pekovic added 19 points as Dimitar Karadzovski finished with 18.

In the same round KK Kumanovo 2009 took its first win in the Superleague after defeated Rabotnicki 87-77 at home. The hosts played better in the second half when they won both quarters to win the match.

Great game for the winners had Vukasin Mandic who finished with 35 points and 8 rebounds while Uros Lukovic had 24 and 7.
