EUROHOLD Balkan League invited Balkan in the tournament

EUROHOLD Balkan League officially invited BC Balkan to be a part of the competition for second straight year. The invitation was sent to the president and the Mayor of Botevgrad - Mr. Georgi Georgiev.   Due to the fact that the team performed strongly in the competition winning the bronze medals and with the new gym that was built there, the management of EUROHOLD BIBL thinks that Botevgrad as a city and the fans deserved their team to play in an international competition.   Last season was the second overall of Balkan in EUROHOLD Balkan League. The team started difficult because most of the first games were away but in the later stages Balkan performed much better and finished fourth in the regular season. Then in the quarterfinal they elminated Teodo and qualified for the Final 4.   During the final tournament Balkan was very close to reach the final but lost in overtime to Levski. Then though the team responded and defeated the hosts Sigal Prishtina to win the bronze medals in the competition.
