Huge first half leads Sutjeska to second victory

KK Sutjeska recorded its second victory in group A of EUROHOLD Balkan League. The team from Niksic hosted KK Teodo in the Montenegrin derby and got the better by beating them 82-55. A huge performance in the first half for the hosts was enough as after that there was really no chance for the team from Tivat. After this game Sutjeska is now tied with Peja with 2 wins and 2 defeats while Teodo is last with no victories and four lost matches. Next game for Sutjeska is at home on December 9th against Rilski Sportist while Teodo will meet the same opponent two days later.
 
It was the beginning of the game that put the home team ahead for good. They scored the first 7 points and later went up 12-2. A 10-0 run a bit later gave them 18-point advantage which stayed until the end of the first ten minutes. In the second quarter Teodo went scoreless for more than five minutes in which Sutjeska made 12-0 run to go up by 30 points. From that moment on the hosts controlled the score and won by big margin.
 
Big difference came from the 3-point shooting of both teams as Sutjeska made 10 of 26 attempts while Teodo was 4 of 14.
 
Nemanja Vranjes was once again the top scorer for the home team with 21 points. Nikola Pavlicevic had 18 points and 8 assists as Radosav Spasojevic added 15 points.
 
For the visitors Aleksandar Radulovic finished with 15 points and 9 rebounds as Manuel Johnson added 12 and 6.
