KB Sigal Prishtina consolidated its second place in group D of EUROHOLD Balkan League after defeating BC Rilski Sportist 94-71 at home. It was the fourth win for Sigal in the Second Stage but it wasn′t good enough to get the top place as Kozuv had secured it before the game. The hosts made a comeback as they went down early but made some changes and from the second quarter on they controlled the match. Sigal finished second and will know its opponent in the 1/4 finals tomorrow evening and the same goes for Rilski Sportist which finished third in the group. The team from Samokov had a chance for second place but had to win by 24 points or more.

Rilski started very well in the first minutes and played very good defense. The visitors also had some good moments in offense which allowed them to take a 16-6 lead in the middle of the first quarter. Later with 2.30 to play in it Milov scored a triple to make it a 14-point game and it was in double digits for a long time. Slowly however Sigal started to cut the deficit and with 4.28 to go in the half they closed it to just 6 points. Later after that Coles scored two triples in a row and tied the result. The run for the hosts continued and they ended the quarter with 14 points in a row to take 8-point advantage in to the locker rooms.

The second half started with 5 points in a row for Rilski and the visitors even missed a chance to tie. After that Sigal responded with 6-0 to go up by 9. Soon after that the advantage reached double digits and by the end of the third quarter it was already unreachable - 19 points. The last ten minutes were more for entertainment of the local fans as the home side increased the advantage and won by a big margin.

The home side had a great shooting percentage from the 3-point line. They made 13 of 24 attempts for 54.2% while Rilski was only 7 of 26 for 26.9%.

Jordan Hulls made six triples on his way to 24 points for the win as Julian Mavunga added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.

For the visitors Zarko Rakocevic had 23 points and 6 rebounds while Tony Gugino added 13 points.
