Domestic leagues: Kumanovo defeats Kozuv with strong second quarter

KK Kumanovo 2009 defeated KK Kozuv 82-67 at home in Macedonian league. Both teams met yesterday and the home side used a great second quarter to take the victory.

After ten minutes Kozuv led by a point but then Kumanovo won the second 30-7 and led until the end. Kozuv played better in the second half but didn′t have the power to make a comeback.

Uros Lukovic, Sasa Avramovic and Vukasin Mandic all scored 16 points for the winners.

For the visitors Vladimir Brckov and Aleksej Nesovic had 13 points apiece.

After this round Kumanovo is 5th with 12 wins and 8 defeats while Kozuv is 6th with 9-10 record.
