Beroe thanked the Mayor of Stara Zagora for his support

After a three-way meeting between representatives of BC Beroe, The Mayor of Stara Zagora - Mr. Jivko Todorov and the president of Bulgarian basketball federations - Mr. Georgi Glushkov, it became clear that The Greens will apply for participation in EUROHOLD Balkan League. Such a participation at an international stage will be useful for the development not only for the basketball in the city, but also for making this sports more famous among the young people.

"This is a very important step in the development of basketball in Stara Zagora and we as a club are extremely grateful to the Mayor - Mr. Jivko Todorov, for his support" underlined from BC Beroe.

The representetives of the club announced their future participation in EUROHOLD Balkan League as a logical continuation of the sports events in Stara Zagora after the city hosted three European championships and few different tournaments this year which confirmed it as a sports center of Bulgaria.
