Beroe is in Top 8

BC Beroe is the last team in Top 8 of SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. The team from Stara Zagora finished first in the Qualification tournament after defeating KK Lovcen Basket 88-69 to take its second win. With it they will continue their participation in the competition with BC Levski 2014 while the Montenegrin side is out. 

Beroe started very well by scoring the first 7 points. Then Lovcen started trying to tie come close and tie the score but the Bulgarian side kept leading. Finally in the second quarter the Montenegrins cut the deficit to just one point but Beroe answered with a great 16-0 run. That put them ahead by 17 and they kept the advantage until the break. In the second half Beroe had no problems, controlled the game and even increased their advantage.

Ashton Moore was the top scorer for the winners with 14 points. Auston Barnes had 12 points and 3 steals while Evrik Gary and Velislav Galabov had 10 points apiece.

For Lovcen Petar Jovanovic and Aleksandar Milic had 13 points apiece.
