Stanimir Marinov: It was a game of mentality

Stanimir Marinov had 6 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists in the second final of SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. However he played very good defense on Lamont Jones and fought very hard during the whole game. His team - KB Sigal Prishtina lost the match but won the title. Here is what Marinov had to say after the end: 

"I think it was more a game of the mentality. It was clear that the team with better mentality would′ve won the trophy. We didn′t win the game it but held on to the difference from Prishtina. I think we deserved the title on the basis that we played good all season, we played as a team. We had some changes in the roster but I think we managed to keep a good core and win this important trophy for Sigal.

When they went up by 13, it was one of those psichological moments. In this time you can see which team has the bigger heart. I think they were nervous and it showed when they missed some three-pointers in a row. From our side we coudln′t grab some rebounds in one of their offenses but generally we held on. This is basketball."
