Domestic leagues: Beroe eliminated from the playoffs

BC Beroe is out from the playoffs in Bulgarian league. The team from Stara Zagora lost the third and decisive quarterfinal match to Spartak Pleven 73-79 at home and got eliminated after losing 1-2 in the series.

The hosts got off to a great start and scored the first 10 points in the game. In the second period Spartak made 11-2 run to come back in the game and at the break the score was tied. The visitors took their first lead at the end of the third quarter and when it finished they were up by 7. The advantage reached 13 points but Beroe hit back to close the gap to only 2 with 33 seconds to play. The visitors however managed to score their free throws and held on for the win.

Aleksandar Todorovic had 17 points for Beroe while Stanislav Vaklinov added 12.
