Quotes after the game KB Sigal Prishtina - BC Beroe

BC Beroe recorded a very important win against KB Sigal Prishtina away. It puts the team at 99% in the Second Stage of the competition as only a very difficult combination of results can throw them way. Here are some quotes after the game was over: 

Andin Rashica, ass. coach of KB Sigal Prishtina: "We started really bad. The main problem was the offensive rebounds although we had players like Rugova, Zenelaj, Delic and Hajrizi who was helping them the most of the time. We are receiving a lot of points which is really bad in BIBL. We came back in the third quarter but then our team got tired. We also started preparations just four days ago but that′s not the reason why we lost. We couldn′t prepare all the things in that time so probably it was impossible to win. We need to look at other results as well now. We′ll wait for Kozuv on Thursday and then we′ll know more about our situation." 

Drilon Hajrizi, player of KB Sigal Prishtina: "We didn′t start the game good as we went down by 12 after the first half. Then it was really hard for us because we don′t have that many players in the rotation. We did our best in the second half but then in the overtime we were unlucky. We are in a really bad position in the Balkan League but I know that with hard work we can qualify. We also need some new players to increase the quality of the team." 

Lubomir Minchev, head coach of BC Beroe: "It was a very important win because with it we are already in the Second Stage. The conditions in the gym were really bad and as a result both teams had a lot of mistakes. I insisted to play in Prishtina and win the game." 

Aaron Jones, player of BC Beroe: "Coming to Prishtina we knew that it won′t be easy playing the home team as it is always hard. It was really a tough game because they started really good in the second half. However then we started playing hard again and did well to get the win."
