KK Sutjeska recorded its first win in the Second Stage. In a group C game the Niksic team downed KK Kozuv 84-76 at home to move up in the standings at 2-2 record. The visitors from Gevgelija stayed with 1-3 as this game was really important for both teams. The hosts however played better, led from start to finish and managed to overcome every run the guest squad tried. In two weeks time both teams will meet again in Gevgelija.

The hosts had a good start to take an 8-2 lead but then Kozuv responded with 9-0 run. After that both teams exchanged baskets until a good finish to the first quarter gave Sutjeska a 5-point advantage. The hosts did well early in the second to go up by 9 and then they held a good lead. Kozuv however responded just before the break and closed the gap to only 3 after 20 minutes of play.

A 9-2 start by Kozuv to the second half was quickly erased with a 7-0 run. After it Sutjeska restored its advantage but the game was still very close. After 30 minutes the lead was 4 points after Djokovic scored a triple just before the buzzer and everything was still wide open. In the first minutes of the last period the hosts increased the lead to 8 but the visitors were trying to stay in the game. In the middle of the quarter Sutjeska made a 7-0 run which was capped by another Djokovic triple to increased the lead to 12 points with 4:14 to go. Until the end the hosts managed to answer each Kozuv attempt to close the gap and finally got an important win.

Jayon James played a great game for the winners finishing with 24 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds and 7 steals. Nikola Djokovic did very well with 17 points as Marko Perovic scored 14.

Again Kenyon McNeail was the top scorer for Kozuv with his 27 points while Milivoje Mijovic had another double-double with 23 and 11 rebounds.
