Domestic cups: Three BIBL teams lifted the trophies

Three Balkan League participants won the Cups in their respective countries. It was a historic moment for both BC Beroe and KK Karpos Sokoli 2000 who won any trophy for the first time while KB Sigal Prishtina repeated it.

Beroe played a great final and ousted the champions Lukoil Academic 78-62. The Greens took over in the second quarter and built a 5-point edge at the break. Shortly after the second half started a 14-4 run for Beroe increased the advantage and the team had no problems to hold on.

Aaron Jones had a great game for the win with 19 points and 17 rebounds. He was also chosen the MVP of the final. Omari Gudul, Shane Gibson and Tencho Tenchev had 11 points apiece.

Karpos Sokoli defeated the hosts and fellow BIBL participaint - MKK Feni Industries 80-69 in the final. After three quarters the teams were very close as Karpos led by just 3 points. In the final period though the Skopje team had more power and finished better the game to win it.

Dominik Mavra had another good game and finished with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the win as Dragan Labovic added 17 points and 8 rebounds. For Feni we had Kiril Nikolovski with 19 points as Andrej Magdevski scored 10.

In the Kosovo Cup final KB Sigal Prishtina defeated KB Peja 77-66. The game was really close before Peja took a 7-point lead before the final period. However than something changed and Sigal managed to turn the things around. Still with less than three minutes to go the score was tied at 63 but in those final moments the players of Sigal did much better and won.

Fuquan Edwin was the top performer with 23 points, 19 of them coming in the fourth quarter. Drilon Hajrizi added 17 points while Jabarie Hinds scored 14. Cameron Rundles had 21 points for Peja sa Robert Abramovic added 14.
