Domestic leagues: Bashkimi won dramatically against Peja, Sigal Prishtina and Trepca also won
KB Bashkimi defeated KB Peja 78-77 in the best game of Kosovo league during the weekend. Both teams fought really hard intul the end as Bashkimi went up by 1 points with four seconds to go when Marko Popovic made two free throws. Then Mirza Ahmetbasic tried to give Peja the win but his attempt was short.
Kayel Locke was the top performer for the winners with 20 points and 8 rebounds while Marko Popovic had 18 points. For Peja Noah Dahlman scored 26 points as Alban Veseli added 18 and 10 boards.
KB Sigal Prishtina hosted Rahoveci and had no trouble to win 94-74. The champions did well and won every quarter to achieve an easy victory.
Drilon Hajrizi finished the game with 14 points while Urim Zenelaj had 11 and 8 rebounds.
KB Trepca also had an easy win after downing Kerasan 95-68 away. The Mitrovica team was the better one since the game started and left no doubt for the outcome.
Nikola Ljujic finished the game with 23 points and 7 rebounds while Jeremy Wise added 21 points and 9 assists.
After this round Sigal Prishtina is first in the standings with 18-3 record while Bashkimi has 16-3. Then Peja follows with 15-4 record while Trepca is fourth with 14-7.
