It′s time for the semifinals

Tonight in Tivat we are going to see the first semifinal of SIGAL UNIQA Balkan League. At 19.00 hrs local time KK Teodo will host BC Beroe and that will open the real battle for the title.

The teams have already played each other in the First Stage and have exchanged wins. However that will not be important now as the stakes are much different.

Teodo will count on the team′s fighting spirit and good team play. The Yellows rely on a physical presence under the basket and are trying to run some fast breaks. Milan Stanojevic is in great form leading the offense and Vucurovic, Popovic, Kusovac and Djurisic are also helping with their good performance.

Beroe will miss badly Shane Gibson who was injured a few days ago. In his absence Raley-Ross will have to step up and of course also the likes of Zhelev and Plamen Aleksiev. The Greens have power under the basket as well with Gudul, Jones and Tesija doing important work. Beroe will have to be aggressive on defense and must try to stop the home team′s good offense in order to take a good result before the return leg.
