Lubomir Minchev: I′m happy with the way we played

BC Beroe will play in the final of SIGAL UNIQA Balkan League after only its second season in the competition. Here is what the head coach of the team - Lubomir Minchev, had to say after The Greens eliminated Teodo: 

"I can always find some negatives in our game. After the first game and our 9-point win, I was worried that the players might think that everything is done. I′m happy that they were motivated. This is why I would like to congratulate everybody in Stara Zagora and our fans. The gym was almost full and I expect it for the final to be completely full. 

I′m happy that we are going to be in the final. I′m happy that we played a really good game and showed we are the better team. However this game is already in the history and we are looking forward to the next ones.

We played without Tihomir Zhelev who said that he had some back problems and wouldn′t be able to play. At the break Tencho Tenchev asked me not to play because he had some knee issues. We have no preferences for the opponent in the final."

Beroe′s main scorer - Shane Gibson, returned to the team after one game absence. Here is what he said after the win: "I′m proud with the way our team played and with the way it did a week ago. I feel good despite the injury I had."
