Domestic leagues: Dramatic win for Kumanovo, defeats for Kozuv and Feni

KK Kumanovo 2009 recorded a dramatic win in Macedonian league. The team hosted Rabotnicki and in a hard fought game took 79-77 victory. The hero for the win was Stefan Zivanovic who made a triple in the final seconds. Before that Kumanovo came back from 7 points down with three minutes to go.

MKK Feni Industries had a bad game and lost 61-83 away to Karpos Sokoli. A good second quarter by the hosts that gave them a 20-point lead, was the key moment for the win.

Boban Stajikj and Branislav Dzekic had 11 points apiece for the visitors as George Sharabidze added 10.

KK Kozuv did very well against the champions MZT Skopje but fell short at the end to lost 75-79. With a minute to go the difference came down to just 3 points and then the Gevgelija team had a chance to tie but missed it.

Milivoje Mijovic had 17 points and 8 rebounds for Kozuv as Bojan Krstevski added 16 points.

After seven rounds in the Superleague Kozuv and Kumanovo are tied for fourth with 2-5 record while Feni is sixth with 1-6.
