Domestic leagues: Beroe reached the semifinals

BC Beroe will play in the semifinals of Bulgarian league for the first time in its history. The Greens eliminated Spartak Pleven after a 103-79 win in the third and decisive game. Beroe will now have a great chance to reach the final as the team will have a home court advantage over Cherno more.

Beroe started well to go up by double digits in the first half. The lead reached 20 but it went down to 11 at the break. In the final three minutes of the third quarter Beroe decided the outcome after making a 12-0 run to go up by 22.

Tihomir Zhelev and Brandis Raley-Ross had 20 points apiece for the win as Omari Gudul finished with 18.
