Domestic leagues: Beroe keeps its chances alive

BC Beroe kept its chances alive by beating PBC Lukoil Academic, 74-64, in Game 3 the finals of National Basketball league in Bulgaria. The Reds had previously a 2-0 advantage after the first two matches in the best-of-five playoff series

Beroe pulled away in the first half, when managed to limit Lukoil Academic to 8 points in the second quarter for 41-28 at the break. The team from Stara Zagora controlled the game after, as well, and never looked back.

 

SIGAL UNIQA Balkan League MVP for Season 2016/2017 Shane Gibson led the winners with 22 points and 5 rebounds. Brandis Raley-Ross had 13, while Nikolay Nikolov and Omari Gudul finished with 10 points each.

Game 4 is on Monday, (29th of May).
