The management of BIBL on a special meeting in Plovdiv

Academic Bultex 99 will host the SIGAL UNIQA Balkan League Final Four if the team qualifies to the top four teams in 2017-2018. This was confirmed by the Sports director of BIBL - Mr. Shay Shtriks on a special meeting in Plovdiv.

"The team is very promising, with an excellent organization at all levels and a very good coach. I am grateful that the club accepted our invitation to play in the competition. Also, a huge Thank you to the Plovdiv Municipality for supporting the idea. Let′s show that basketball is not only in Sofia, but here too the fans are great. If the team do the job and qualifies to the Final Four, everything else depends on us,", Mr. Shay Shtriks said.

"We will also invite the national TV to broadcast the matches of Academic Bultex 99 in Plovdiv for free. After all, it′s not all about money, we have to support basketball," he added.

"Thanks to the municipality of Plovdiv for the support, without their help we would not be able to participate in the Balkan League. We will give our best," the club president Vasil Vratchev said.

"It will be difficult for us, because for the first time we will play two games per week. I hope that we can prepare well. Our goal is to play in the playoffs of the Bulgarian league and we will do our best to qualify to the Final Four of BIBL," the coach Asen Nikolov said.
