Asen Nikolov: We took wrong decisions at the end

After three straight win Akademik Bultex 99 lost its first game in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. The Plovdiv team was beaten at home by RIlski Sportist after a good and entertaining match. Here is what the head coach Asen Nikolov had to say after the end: 

"It was a close game like the previous one against Rilski. Unfortunately at the end we took the wrong decisions in four different situations. If Maodo had played, he would′ve helped us down low because they outplayed us there, especially before the break. We need to clear our heads during the games because this is why the mistakes are coming."

Martin Durchev, who was one the best Akademik players, also spoke after the match: 

"I′m really dissappointed but Rilski deserved to win given our performance. We could′ve won due to more luck but at the end we made some mistakes. We allowed the visitors to score easy baskets and didn′t do what the coach told us to. We knew they were going to press down low given the absence of Maodo but we couldn′t handle it."
