Let′s start playing in 2018!

We are just a few hours from the first game in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League for 2018! Tonight at 19.30 local time in Prizren KB Bashkimi will host KK Blokotehna-NB in the first match of the new year in the league.

The hosts welcome the leaders in the standings with a lot of changes. There is a new coach in Stratos Koukoulekidis and also five new players - three Americans and two Kosovar. This surely means that Bashkimi will need some time to gel and get into a rhythm as the first chance is tonight. Aaron Ross and Altin Morina already made their debuts while the other new signings are waiting for it. The three Americans - Hanner, Motley and Knight as well as Samir Zekiqi left the team so it will take time in order for the new players to click and start playing well.

Elsewhere Blokotehna also made some changes to the roster but kept the core of the team. The new names are Johnatan Hudson and Cedrick Brown while Dujkovikj, Gocevski and Mallory left. Blokotehna will go out searching for the win in order to keep the first position before the derby against Levski Lukoil next week. Coach Marjan Ilievski will again count on the heavy presence of Mijatovic and Kazarnovski under the basket and of course the energy and hustle of Benjamin.
