BC Rilski Sportist finished the Regular season in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League in first place. That happened after the team defeated KK Blokotehna-NB 85-84 in the decisive game. Both sides were fighting really hard to get the win and at the end it was the visitors who celebrated. It was Blokotehna′s first home defeat of the campaign but it came in a bad moment. Both teams have qualified to the Final Four for a long time and now we′ll be waiting to understand who they′ll meet in the semifinals.

It was a very close first quarter with both sides exchanging points. A 7-0 Rilski run broke a tie in the second as the visitors managed to pull away. A bit later their lead reached 12 points when Georgiev scored a triple but then the hosts finished the first half with 8 straight to close the gap.

The second half was no different than the first as both teams fought really hard. With a 5-0 run in the fourth period Rilski managed to pull away by 7 points but Blokotehna quickly came back and took a one-point advantage. Ravenel scored immediatelly to put the visitors ahead again but with few seconds to go Mijatovic added two free throws as the hosts again took the lead. Rilski however had enough time to say its final word and a dunk by Taylor gave the team the win.

Derek Wright was the top performer for the winners with 23 points and 7 assists. Travis Taylor had 19 points while Evan Ravenel added 16.

The hosts were led by Anton Kazarnovski who finished with 21 points as Danilo Mijatovic had 20.
