Domestic leagues: Levski won a thriller, convincing for Rilski

BC Levski Lukoil won a thrilling and in the same time really important game against BC Akademik Bultex 99. The match was played in Sofia and the hosts took 109-97 victory in overtime. 

The first half was better for The Blues but a great start to the second helped the visitors tie the score. In the final period Akademik moved up by 7 points but Levski responded to take the lead before the visitors tied with just 5 seconds to play. In the overtime again the two sides were really close but two straight triples by the hosts decided the outcome with 43 seconds to go.

Bozhidar Avramov had 17 points for the win as Nemanja Milosevic added 16 and 13 rebounds. The visitors were led by Isiah Umipig with 28 points and Dimitar Dimitrov with 19.

Rilski Sportist had a much easier task defeating Cherno more 91-67 away. The game however was really close for 25 minutes but then the visitors pulled away and 20-0 run in the final period decided everything. 

Derek Wright had 22 points for the winners as Sheldon Jeter and Travis Taylor had 15 apiece.

After this round Rilski and Levski are tied with 13-5 record while Akademik is fourth with 12-6.
