Domestic leagues: Levski Lukoil won the Regular season, Akademik is 2nd while Rilski is 4th

BC Levski Lukoil won the Regular season in Bulgarian league. The team defeated the young Academic Sofia 78-57 at home in the last round to secure the first place. 

The game was decided early when the hosts moved up by 15 points. They controlled the game after that and had no trouble in overcoming the opponent. Nikolay Stoyanov finished with 20 points as Omari Gudul had 11 and 12 rebounds.

Akademik Bultex 99 won its sixth straight game to finish second before the playoffs. The Plovdiv side defeated Beroe 82-70 and thanks to that also secured Levski′s first position. Akademik started strong and led by 15 points after one quarter and managed to keep its advantage until the end.

Dimitar Dimitrov had 21 points and 11 rebounds in the winning effort as Martin Durchev, Nikola Maravic and Isiah Umipig added 14 points apiece.

Rilski Sportist had a chance to finish third but lost 80-92 away to Balkan. The home side started strong to go up 13-2 and led until the end. Numerous times Rilski managed to come close but the hosts always responded and in the end even managed to increase the difference.

Travis Taylor had 21 points for Rilski as Zlatin Georgiev added 19.

There was a three-way tie at the top with Levski Lukoil, Akademik Bultex 99 and Balkan all having 42 points. However due to the results between the teams this is how they finished in the standings. Rilski ended up in fourth place,
