Akademik Bultex 99 started preparation

BC Akademik Bultex 99 started preparation for the upcoming season. The new coach Darko Kostic and his assistants Yordan Yankov and Todor Georgiev went on the court with 10 players for the first practice while the other two are expected in the next few days.

Akademik started with Aleksandar Gruev, Vasil Bachev, Adriyan Sekulov and Iliyan Stavrev who are the only ones left from last season. The new signings are Venelin Hristov, Peter Olisemeka, Nikola Vujovic, Mladen Vitkovic and Martin Sotirov while Daishon Knight and Nikolay Nikolov will join in the upcoming days. The Serbian guard Nebojsa Krstic also showed up for the first practice as he will be on a try out with the team.

Akademik will start the friendly games against a fellow BIBL participant Beroe on September 12th. In total the team will have 7 or 8 friendlies before the new season starts in October.
