Teuta to debut in the Balkan League against Akademik Bultex 99

The second game of the season in the Balkan League is about to be played tonight. At 19.00 hrs local time in Durres KS Teuta will make its debut in the Balkan League by hosting BC Akademik Bultex 99. The match will be broadcast LIVE Albanian national tv, YouTube and SportMedia.tv.

The hosts will be looking to impress in their first ever game in the competition and would surely like to start with a good performance and a win. To do that the team will count mostly on its frontcourt players like Eric Copes, Endrit Hysenagolli and Kyle Meyer who would try to impose themselves on its opponent. Of course they are going to need the help of the other like CJ Wilson, Kristi Gorea and two experienced BIBL players like Genti Lasku and Robert Shestani. Head coach Slobodan Ninic has players to make noise in the competition but now it′s up to them to put the pressure of the debut behind and perform well.

Akademik on the other side has much different roster than last season but still the ambitions of the team will be to do well. The Plovdiv side would turn to Daishon Knight and Vasil Bachev on the backcourt which means it will be a battle of two different styles of play. So far this season Akademik has had some problems under the basket and this is something the team would like to improve. Head coach Darko Kostic will debut in the competition and will be try to do this with a win and good performance.
