Domestic leagues: First win for Akademik Bultex 99, Beroe lost heartbreaker with 214 points

BC Akademik Bultex 99 recorded its first win in all competitions this season. The Plovdiv team visited Academic Sofia and took 102-79 victory after a strong start. 

The visitors opened the game with a 10-0 run. At the end of the first quarter the difference reached 20 points and Akademik controlled the game after that.

Vasil Bachev was the top scorer for the winners with 25 points as Peter Olisemeka had 23 and 19 rebounds.

BC Beroe lost a real heartbreaket away at Levski Lukoil by 105-109. Both teams had an amazing scoring night totalling 214 points and 37 triples but the end it was the hosts who celebrated.

With a 20-1 run to finish the first half Beroe went to the break leading by 8. After the third quarter finished the difference was down to just 1 and in the last one the teams continued fighting. Levski however managed to make a run which put the team up by a few points and the hosts held on.

Conner Frankamp had 29 points for Beroe as Tihomir Zhelev added 22 including 7 triples.
