Aleksandar Vrzina: I′m pleased with my players
BC Barsy suffered its second straight defeat in the Balkan League ater losing to BC Beroe. The Kazakhstan team performed better than in the first match but still came up short. Here is what the head coach Aleksandar Vrzina had to say after the end:
"In the first game we were tired because of the long flight. We had a conversation before the second match and we played like what we practice. We showed character, we fought, we were brave and I′m pleased. If they didn′t score some tough shots maybe the result could′ve been different.
We spoke about what is different here. In Kazakhstan we can′t play such an aggressive style of basketball. That′s what we like, that′s how we practice and it was good.
To tell you the truth I don′t care about the results. I mean that if we play good the wins will come. We need to continue to play like this. Hopefully against Kozuv we′ll have two players we missed against Beroe. We′ll see where our play will lead us but I′m very pleased with my team and the way the players behaved in this second game."
