Domestic leagues: Academic Bultex 99 lost a drama

BC Academic Bultex 99 suffered a dramtic late defeat in Bulgarian league. The Plovdiv side visited Balkan and played good game before losing 96-97.

The match was close from start to finish as both teams exchanged points. It was a high-scoring affair and it was natural it had to be decided in the end. With the score tied at 96 Balkan had a chance from the free throw line and managed to score once. Then the visitors missed their chance and lost the game.

Daishon Knight had 30 points for Academic while Vasil Bachev added 25.

After this round Academic is tied for fifth with 4-5 record while Beroe, who had a rest this weekend. is fourth with 6-2 but also with a game less.
