Domestic leagues: Beroe defeated Academic Bultex 99 away

In a battle between the two BIBL teams in Bulgarian league, BC Beroe got the better winning 85-72 away at BC Academic Bultex 99. 

Beroe took the lead early and kept it until the end. Already in the first quarter at times the difference was in double digits as at the break it became 13. In the last quarter the hosts managed to close the gap to just 6 points but Beroe responded and didn′t have any problems. 

Nikolay Stoyanov was the top performer for the winners with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Conner Frankamp added 17 points and 5 assists as James White had 13 points.

The hosts were led by Vasil Bachev with 17 points while Daishon Knight had 16.

Beroe is third in the standings with 7 wins and 2 defeats and with a game less than Rilski Sportist. In the same time Academic Bultex 99 is fifth with 4-6 record.
