KB Bashkimi suffered its 7th defeat in the Balkan League so far in the season. The team visited BC Academic Bultex 99 and was close until the middle of the third quarter but eventually suffered a big defeat. Here is what the current coach of the team Vigan Maloku had to say after the match was over:

"We were holding on well before the break and after that we wanted to save some of our players due to the game we′ll have on Thursday. We played on Sunday, we had a long travel and we had to distribute the minutes. That contributed to the big difference in the second half."

Jordan Capps was the top scorer for Bashkimi with 19 points and said the following:

"We are playing well before the break and that was the case in that game as well. In the second half the fatigue got to us and we lost our defensive principals. This is the main reason for our defeat. After the break we were missing our rebounding and transition game which didn′t allow us to score more points. We still have few more matches in the competition and we just need to forget this game and think for the next one."
