The key players: Sime Spralja and Akeem Scott

We are continuing to present the key players for the upcoming decisive games tomorrow night, and after Rilski Sportist - OKK Beograd, now it′s time for Timisoara - Mornar Bar.
 

Sime Spralja
 
Since his arrival in Timisoara, Sime Spralja quickly established himself as a key figure in the rotation of head coach Predrag Badnjarevic. The 204-cm tall forward has been showing great scoring abilities, along with good sense of rebounding and a pretty solid shooting touch for a big man. In just 4 games in the Balkan League, Spralja showed that he is without any doubt amongst the top players in the entire
league. Over four appearances, in which Timisoara won three games, Spralja has been averaging 20.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 steals in 36.3 minutes per contest. Along with that the Croatian big man has showed a pretty solid percentage in his shooting – 47.2% for two points, 56.0% for three points and 80.0% from the charity stripe.
 
 
Akeem Scott
 
Akeem Scott has been a key player for KK Mornar Bar since the start of the season in the EUROHOLD Balkan League. The New York born playmaker has established himself well in the rotation of the young Montenegrin squad and is the top choice
of head coach Mihailo Pavicevic for the point guard spot. Scott has not only been a good ball distributor, but also has showcased his scoring skills, as most recently OKK Beograd felt what he can do, as it was Scott who scored the game-winning basket for Mornar in the 75:73 win. In 9 appearances in the group stage so far, the Lees-McRae graduate has averaged 18.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.4 steals, along with 2.9 turnovers. Scott has been shooting 53.1% for two points, 26.3% from long distance and 69.6% from the free-throw line.
