Maccabi Next Urban Haifa strengthens for new season

New additions to the roster and new contracts for half a dozen players plus coaches and staff were recently announced by Maccabi Next Urban Haifa.The team welcomed guard DJ Sharp. Sharp played last season in Elitzor Ashkelon and finished the season with 5.9 points and 1.1 assists on average per game. Previously he also played in Ramat Gan, Bnei Herzliya, Hapoel Galil Elion, and Hapoel Beer Sheva.
Another addition is Noam Weinberg. Forward Weinberg played last season in the uniform of Bnei Herzliya.
The guard Ofek Malka also joins Maccabi Next Urban Haifa. In the last season, he played in Raanana, and was one of the three most prominent scorers in the league. Malka also went through all the ranks in junior national teams in Israel.
New player for the squad is also guard/forward Tomer Cohen who comes from Nahariya.
Maccabi brings in also forward Eli Abaev, who was born in Israel and raised in the United States. He played last season in Hapoel Beer Sheva, in his first season as a professional.
Continuing in the green is coach Ofer Rahimi and most of the staff.
Also, new contracts were signed by Daniel Kozahinof, Daniel Koperberg, Admon Gilder, Ilay Chen, Amit Menachem, and Erez Poran.
