Domestic leagues: Bashkimi fought hard but was eliminated

KB Bashkimi was eliminated in the semifinals of Kosovo league playoffs. The Prizren team will not manage to defend its title after losing to KB Prishtina 95-98 at home and thus the series 0-3.

Bashkimi though managed to put up a big fight and was very close to a surprising win. The visitors led for most of the time but with 1.20 to go the score was tied. Then Prishtina made the next two baskets as the hosts missed twice and that decided the outcome.

Drilon Hajrizi was the top performer for Bashkimi with 26 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Jordan Capps also did well by adding 22 points as Lamar Wofford-Humphrey had 15 and 7 rebounds.
