Sport 5 to broadcast all BIBL games in Israel

All Balkan League games that will be played in Israel will be broadcast LIVE on TV. Sport 5 is the channel that will show the matches to the local fans who will be able to chear for their favourite teams in fron of the TV. 

12 Israeli teams wil play in the Balkan League this season starting from October 13. They were divided in four groups of three teams each and will play a total of 4 games. The winners in the four groups will then form two pairs and then the winners of those pairs will qualify for the Second Stage of the competition joining four teams from the Balkans. 

So far in the history of the Balkan League, we′ve had two teams from Israel which took part in it. Hapoel Galil Gilboa played a total of three season winning the trophy twice - in 2012 and 2013, and finishing second in 2014. Hapoel Tel Aviv played one season in 2011-2012 losing to the eventual champion Galil Gilboa in the semi-final.
