Yordan Yankov: We'll continue to work to improve the young players

BC Akademik Plovdiv won its fourth game in a row in Delasport Balkan League after beating KK Teodo in its home debut of the season. Here is what the head coach of the team and one of the best players on the evening, had to say after the victory:

Yordan Yankov: "Our team had ups and downs but I think it was normal given the long period in which we didn't play. Some of the players also didn't have a game for more than a month. We'll continue working on the improvement of the young players and their tactical tasks. We played with a big desire and took an important win."

Nikolay Nikolov finished the game with 15 points. Here is what he had to say: "We started the game aggressively in offense and defense. Thanks to that we managed to make a big difference already in the first quarter. Afterwards we had some ups and downs which I think is due to our long break without games. We practiced well in that period and I think that we'll get better with each game."
