Gaz Metan maintain perfect balance

The last team, which was added in the EUROHOLD Balkan League - CS Gaz Metan Medias, continues to impress everyone. Today, the Romanian side won away from home against KK Metalac Valjevo with a score of 69:82, to remain the only unbeaten team in the BIBL so far, as they have 4 consecutive wins for a 4-0 balance.
 
Tonight in Valjevo, the local side Metalac was only able to hold on for the first 5 minutes when the score was only 10:11 for Gaz Metan. After the first ten minutes of play, Bruno Soce`s side had a commanding 15-point lead - 19:34.
 
In the second quarter, CS Gaz Metan Medias continued their domination, and as the score was growing constantly, the two teams took a break at halftime, with the Romanian side up 16 points - 39:55 after 20 minutes of play.
 
After halftime, Gaz Metan continued to dictate the game tempo, and after 30 minutes of play, Metalac were only able to get 2 points off their losing, as now they were trailing by 14 points - 52:66.
 
The last quarter was still one-sided, as the two teams only had to settle the final score at 69:82.
 
Gaz Metan`s biggest lead of the game was 20 points.
 
Nenad Stefanovic and Milan Trtic had 16 points each for KK Metalac, as Trtic added 7 rebounds. Marko Ljubojevic scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds, while Stefan Bircevic had only 4 points, but he grabbed 13 rebounds.
 
For CS Gaz Metan Medias, Jarrett Howell scored the most points - 16, as he also added 6 assists and 2 steals. Osvaldo Jeanty also had 16, while Titus Nicoara had as much as Derrick Phelps - 12, but the Romanian youngster added 7 rebounds for an efficiency rating of 16.
 
In the next round, CS Gaz Metan Medias host Rilski Sportist, while KK Metalac are visiting Rabotnicki in Skopje.
