Domestic leagues: Rilski surprised Lukoil, the result is 2-1 now

BC Rilski Sportist surprised Lukoil Academic in Game 3 from their semifinal series in the Bulgarian NBL. Rileco won 82:72 at home in Arena Samokov, and handed Lukoil their first defeat in any Bulgarian competition this season.   Vladimir Mijovic led Rilski Sportist against his former team, finishing with 27 points and 7 rebounds. Ivan Lilov and Dimitar Karadjovski added 14 points each, while the captain of the team Aleksandar Gruev finished with 9 in the win.   Todor Stoykov was Lukoil′s best performer tonight, as the experienced guard scored 24 points. Devin Green added 16, while Devin Green and Travis Peterson finished with 16 and 14. Brandon Heath was the last Lukoil player to score in double digits - he had 10 points.   The fourth game from the best of five series is on Thursday (May 19th) again in Samokov, when Rilski will be pursuing another win to tie the series.
