The national team of Serbia defeated Croatia 73:68, in what happened to be the Balkan derby in the 1/8 Finals of the 2011 FIBA U19 World Championship in Riga, Latvia.   Djordje Drenovac scored 19 points in Serbia′s win, while Aleksandar Cvetkovic finished with 12, but he scored the last 8 points for his team to get the win. Marko Gujancic and Petar Lambic finished with 12 points each as well.   Boris Barac scored 18 for Croatia in their loss. Dario Saric added 11 and three other players scored 10 points a piece.   Serbia will face Canada in their last game, which will probably be decisive for the fourth spot, which gives the right to go through to the 1/4 finals, as Serbia are 4th with 3-2 now, and Canada are 5th with 2-3.
