Aaron Harper stays with Levski for one more season

Levski′s best scorer in the last two seasons - Aaron Harper will stay another year with the club from Sofia. Harper joined Levski in 2009 from French side Roanne and has been a key figure for Konstantin Papazov′s team ever since.   In his first season with the "Blues" - 2009/2010 Harper averaged 20.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.5 steals over the course of 13 games. In the end of the season, the team lifted the EUROHOLD Balkan League Championship trophy.   Last year (2010/11) he played in 9 games, including 8 starts, as he averaged 16.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.1 steals per contest.   Levski′s head coach Titi Papazov expressed his happiness from Harper′s decision to stay: "Every morning since the 1st of July I woke up, expecting an email from him. I′m really happy I had to wait only 7 days."   "I really think that Harper′s decision to stay is an example that we have a good and strong organization. The presence of a such talented player in Bulgaria is good not only for Levski, but for the Bulgarian basketball as well. His big ambition is to be a winner and now we have to work in order to realize it." Papazov added.
