The BIBL management took the decision that a Women Balkan League should start from this autumn, along with the Junior Balkan League and the 3-on-3 tournaments.Today an official letter was sent from the League office to all the federations members of the Balkan League - Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania and Serbia, requesting the names of any teams that would be interested in playing in the Women Balkan League.
The competition format, financial details, schedule and all other organizational and technical issues will be clear in a couple of weeks, after all national federations send the names of the interested teams, so the number of the participants can be decided.
