Spain are the new U20 European champion for men. In the final game in Bilbao they defeated italy 70:82 and deservedly grabbed the gold medals. Nikola Mirotic had a great performance in the final game, finishing with 29 points and 11 boards.
In the game for 7th and 8th place Montenegro defeated Latvia 85:76 and clniched the seventh spot. Bojan Dubljevic shined for the Montenegrin side with 26 points and 13 rebounds. Mornar′s Nikola Ivanovic appeared in 8 games with the U20 team, averaging 9.4 points, 2.0 assists and 1.3 steals.
Serbia finished 13th after they won their last game against Croatia by 18 points - 63:81, as Nemanja Nedovic scored 15 points in the win. Croatia is relegated in Division B along with Austria.
In Division B Bosnia and Herzegovina finished 6th, after a loss to Portugal in their last game. Bulgaria ended up at the 8th position, as they were defeated by Denmark in their last game.
Georgia and Estonia won the promotion to Division A.News
