Ten teams have confirmed their participation in the 2011/2012 EUROHOLD BIBL

Ten teams from six countries have officially confirmed their participation in the 2011/2012 edition of the EUROHOLD Balkan League. Seven of those teams already have experience in the BIBL in the past seasons, while three of them are new to the League and set to make their debut.HKK Zrinjski Mostar will represent Bosnia & Herzegovina in 2011/2012, as this will be their second consecutive appearance in the BIBL.
Bulgaria will be represented by two former champions of the BIBL - BC Levski (2010 champion) and BC Rilski Sportist (2009 champion). Both teams haven′t missed a season in the BIBL.
Macedonia will have KK Feni, the current EUROHOLD Balkan League champion, a team, playing in the BIBL since the first season of the competition. The other team, set to make their debut in the BIBL is KK Torus Skopje.
The Montenegrin teams will be the same like last season - local rivals KK Mornar Bar and KK Ulcinj.
BC Timisoara are set for debut in the BIBL, as they will be the only Romanian participant in the League this season.
Serbia will have OKK Beograd, who already have solid experience in the BIBL and a new team - KK Napredak Rubin from Krusevac.
At a later stage, the league might expand to a bigger number of teams (12), as there is still a pending approval from FIBA for Israeli team/s to join the BIBL. All the member federations have already approved Israel to become part of the BIBL.
