The Croatian U18 women team won the Division B European Championship in Miskolc, Hungary. In the final game of the tournament, the young Croatians defeated Greece by 14 points - 63:49, in order to get the gold medals. However both teams won promotion to Division A.   Ivana Tikvic scored 21 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in Croatia′s win. Glorija Sikiric added 11 points in the winning effort.   Bulgaria finished 12th in Division B, after a 60:66 loss to Norway in the 11/12 place game. Stine Austgulen scored 20 points for Norway, while Iva Kostova finished with 18 for Bulgaria.   Belgium won Division A after a 77:49 blowout against France in the final game. Emma Meesseman scored 25 points and added 9 boards in the final game.   Serbia finished at the 8th spot, after losing the game for 7/8 place to Turkey - 42:47. Romania ended up on the 12th position, after a 47:50 loss to Slovenia in their last game.
