Greece ease past Bulgaria in Athens, Montenegro beats Ukraine in Istanbul

Greece didn′t have any trouble against Bulgaria in the second day of the Acropolis Tournament in Athens, Greece. The Greek side won 101:67 for their second straight win at the tournament. After the first period the home side had a 31:13, which they extended to 56:32 at halftime. The Bulgarians weren′t able to do anything until the end, and the final score was 101:67.
Costas Vasiliadis scored 15 points for Greece, Dimitros Mavroeidis added 13, while Michael Bramos and Ian Vougioukas scored 11 each.
Deyan Ivanov scored 12 for Bulgaria, Filip Videnov had 12, and Nikolay Varbanov and E.J. Rowland added 11 a piece.
In Istanbul Montenegro opened up their participation in the Adidas Cup with an 80:67 win over Ukraine. The game was tied at 58:58 after 30 minutes, and Montenegro outscored their opponents 22:13 in the last period in order to get the win.
Omar Cook had 20 points for Montenegro and Nikola Vucevic added 15. Vladimir Dasic and Vladimir Dragicevic scored 11 each.
Oleksiy Pecherov had 19 for Ukraine and Steve Burtt added 13.News
