EuroBasket2011: Easy win for Serbia, Israel with second loss

Group B: Latvia - Serbia 77:92   Serbia achieved their second straight win in Group B of EuroBasket 2011. This time the team of head coach Dusan Ivkovic defeated the young team of Latvia by 15 points of difference - 77:92.   Nenad Krstic scored 23 points in just 22 minutes of playing time for Serbia. Dusko Savanovic had 19, while Ivan Paunic added 10 in the win.   Rolands Freimanis led Latvia with 19, Janis Blums finished with 15.   Israel - France 68:85   Israel suffered their second straight defeat at the tournament, as the 68:85 loss on the other side happened to be France′s second straight win.   Yotam Halperin and Lior Eliyahyu scored 15 points a piece for Israel. David Blu added 14 in the losing effort.   Tony Parker had a great game for France, scoring 21 along with 8 assists. Nicholas Batum added 15 and Mickael Gelabale finished with 13.
