Hapoel Tel-Aviv, one of the two Israeli teams along with BC Galil Gilboa which are set to make their debut in the EUROHOLD Balkan League added a new player to their roster. The team′s latest addition is American forward Tracy Smith, who recently graduated from North Carolina State University.
 
Smith is a 203-cm tall forward, born on the 20th of January 1988 in Detroit, Michigan. He played four years of college basketball at NC State, as the contract with Hapoel Tel-Aviv will be his first professional deal.
 
His best season in college was his junior year, as he averaged 16.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.0 blocked shots in 32.1 minutes per game. He was the team′s top scorer and rebounder and was selected to the ACC All-Second Team.
 
In 2010/2011 which was his senior year his statline was 14.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 27.7 minutes per game. He received an All-ACC Honorable Mention.
