KK Mornar brings Akeem Scott

KK Mornar continued to strengthen their roster for the upcoming season. Akeem Scott, who is also part of the Jamaican National Team will join his new teammates this week announced from a local media. Mornar was close to sign guard Blake Hoffarber from the University of Minnesota. He signed a 1+1 deal and was supposed to arrive in Montenegro last Thuesday. But the ex Golden Gopher had problems with hispаssport and the management of the club decided to sign Scott to replace him.
186cm tall, 28 years old Scott has a lot of experience in Europe, as he spent 4 years in the top division in Finland, after he graduated in High Point College in 2006. Akeem is a well known name in Scandinavia, as he was one of the best scorers in Finland for these 4 years. In 2009 he received a Jamaican citizenship as his mother was born in Jamaica. He gained his first international cap in 2010, when he was part of the Jamaican National team for the Centrobasket FIBA Tournament and helped the team to make a 2-2 record.
