American big man Ronald Slay is Levski′s newest addition. The 203-cm tall power forward should solve the team′s problems in the paint, as both of the tall players on the team - Stefan Georgiev and Denis Agre are recovering from injuries.Ron Slay was born on June 29th 1981. He played prep school baketball for the elite Oak Hill Academy, before commiting to play in college for Tennessee. In his senior year of college he averaged 21.2 points and 7.8 rebounds and was named player of the year in the SEC conference.
In his professional career he has played for Galatasaray (Turkey), Cocodrillos (Venezuela), Asheville (NBDL), Maccabi Givat Shmuel (Israel), Huelva (Spain), Montegranaro, Caserta, Varese and Pesaro (Italy) and Grises de Humacao (Puerto Rico).
Last season he played for Varese in Italy, appearing in 32 games and averaging 13.6 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists.
