Levski are hosting Zrinjski in their season opener

The 2010 BIBL champion - BC Levski is hosting HKK Zrinjski Mostar in what would be the season opener for both clubs in the EUROHOLD Balkan League for the 2011/2012 season. Levski are starting their fourth straight season in the BIBL, while for Zrinjski this will be the second consecutive participation in the tournament.
 
Levski will rely on a mix between talent and experience this season, as the team has quite a few new additions. Starting off with guard Marcus Hall, who already played with Levski in the BIBL two seasons ago, averaging 20.4 points and 3.9 assists, going through experienced forwards Hrisimir DImitrov and Dimitar Anguelov, and finishing with big guys Vassil Evtimov and Ronald Slay, and the former captain of Rilski Sportist - Aleksandar Gruev. The team kept their best player from 2010/2011 Aaron Harper.
 
Zrinjski also made a lot of changes since last season. The team′s key players from last year Zeljko Sakic and Armend Kahrimanovic are gone, and there is a new head coach - Dejan Parezanin. However the team added a couple of tall players - Obrad Tomic (207cm) and Bogdan Jovanovic (206 cm), along with one of Ulcinj′s top performers from last season, Aleksandar S. Radulovic, who averaged 13.0 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.1 blocked shots in the BIBL.
 
The two teamas have already met twice in the BIBL, during the 2010/2011 season, when Levski took both games - 98:77 at home and 76:84 away.
